I know some people out there are computer geeks, and I’m okay at computers, but the most i know is regedit opens the registry folder lol. And right now, I got a little problem.
So i was playing gunbound (nice little game, I joined a guild called Nexon lol) and it’s a full screen game like maple. The thing is, when i run like gunbound, or maple, or kartrider, sometimes the screen resolution changes over to 800×600 by itself even when the game is off (Vista…) and this particular day, I went afk on gunbound and went to eat dinner. When I came back, the program was minimized, the computer was in 800×600, and the touchpad wouldn’t work! GAHHH!
And I restarted the computer, and it was STILL LIKE THAT! I’m thinking of doing that thing where i delete everything off my computer and reinstalling everything (forgot what that was called =P) but I don’t really want to do that, plus i don’t have a virus (scanned computer) it’s undoubtedly a small bug that grew big. Does anyone have suggestions? If the worst comes…. Windows XP….
I heard there was a new service pack for Windows Vista, is it out yet?

well, have you tried the “Technical Help”
section on sleepywood? it’s pretty helpful in my opinion,
i would suggest you to give a shot there.
How about plugging in a USB mouse and see if the cursor moves? My lappie also runs on Vista and sometimes it stucks in 800×600 also after a maple session or even when i restart my lappie. Hope the USB mouse solve ur problem! Cause i don’t know any other more technical ways to solve it =P
ps: I can’t maple without a mouse. Touchpads are sux0r for pqs. Heh.
pps: I heard Vista service pack doesn’t have any major updates/upgrades, don’t think it will affect ur usability much.

Hmmmm…. you still can’t move the trackpad? I would try starting up in Safe Mode and seeing if you could change some of the settings (probably resolution, mouse & trackpad settings, anything else that might jog the problem).
Also, its Vista…. I don’t think MS is fully Vista-Compliant…. The resolution-resize thing was a big problem for my friend too, even when he ran other games like FlyFF…. I think Vista has a fatal graphics engine problem.
Vista Service Pack is due soon, but who knows what it fixes…. I play MS on a Mac
